Black Moon Lilith speaks to the darkest parts of ourselves that we’re often afraid to acknowledge. It is also connected to the areas where we set our boundaries. It represents our deepest desires that want to be expressed.

This painting was inspired by the story about Sleeping Beauty - a princess that fell asleep for a 100 years while the castle was covered by roses. Sight of those roses has fascinated me since my childhood.
