MURAL ART

Flora & Fauna, 2021 is located in the Data City parking area in the Turku Science Park. Flora & Fauna was selected through a competition for artists aiming to create inspiring and vivid surroundings to the campus. All together 53 paintings were selected from the total of 356 proposals.

- The impact of nature and nature experiences on human well-being is significant. Therefore I want to bring a piece of nature to an environment where people often are busy and maybe even stressed. I hope this mural affects people in a positive way - surprises and carries thoughts to nature for a moment. For people with no natural contact with nature, I hope that my work will provide an interesting window to the beauty of nature.

Dimensions: 200 cm x 360 cm
Media: Acrylic on concrete
